第62回女性の地位委員会（CSW62）

  2018年3月12日から23日にかけて、ニューヨークの国連本部において第62回女性の地位委員会(CSW62)が開催されました。国連加盟国政府代表者、国連機関、経済社会理事会に諮問的地位を有する非政府組織(NPO)が世界各国から集まり、農山漁村女性と女児の権利やエンパワーメントについて議論しました。

第62回女性の地委員会にて、決議された議案は下記のとおりです。

・パレスチナ女性の現状と支援

(E/CN.6/2018/L.3 a resolution on the "Situation of and assistance to Palestinian women", for action by the Economic and Social Council)

・紛争時に人質として収監された女性や児童の解放

(E/CN.6/2018/L.4 a resolution on "Release of women and children taken hostage, including those subsequently imprisoned, in armed conflicts", without a vote)

・女性、女児とHIV/エイズ

(E/CN.6/2018/L.5 a resolution on "Women, the girl child and HIV and AIDS", without a vote)

・女性の地位委員会の今後の組織構成及び作業方法

(E/CN.6/2018/L.6 a resolution on "Future organization and methods of work of the Commission on the Status of Women", for action by the Economic and Social Council)

・第４回世界女性会議の25周年

(E/CN.6/2018/L.7 a resolution on the "Twenty-fifth anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women", for action by the Economic and Social Council)

また、第63回女性の地位員会(CSW63)のテーマが決定されました。来年のテーマは「ジェンダー平等と女性・女児のエンパワーメントのための社会保障制度、公共サービスへのアクセスと持続可能なインフラ」（Social protection systems, access to public services and sustainable infrastructure for gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls.）です。
